Spent a wonderful morning with Stu and the kids. Then afternoon tea with my friend Kellie and a touch of shopping.

Mum is home tomorrow – so some good time to be spent with her.  In fact, it plans to be a big week for us both!

To me Mothers Day is about giving thanks for my children – and how much I adore both of them – I am truly blessed!

Ms 14 went out today (we’re still on school hols) and ‘overstayed’ her time out — but she did call me and tell me what she was doing… and even though that wasn’t my understanding of our agreement, I could understand where she was ‘at’.

Thank goodness I remember being a teen – a little!

Today I am blessed as I have written 1000 words for my 3000 word book chapter.  Equally as blessed because my family gave me the space to do it.

It was just lovely to wake up to doggy cuddles and snuggles, each one visited to say “Good Morning” and to be able to sleep in, just that little bit.

I have a great personal trainer! Mary makes me work hard and gives great encouragement.  I am grateful to be able to spend time on my own wellbeing.

I’m also thankful to be able to share my training with my family – and enjoy the sunshine and fresh air.

I had lunch with my daughter today and we were talking about the fact she wanted to write a Blessings Book…

What’s a blessing’s book?  This is a journal where you record the good things that happen to you each day…

What a great way to maintain a positive mindset!  I was so taken with the idea and how it can help my teenage daughter deal with being a teenager, that I thought I would participate.

So, today we went and bought ourselves nice journals (and pens) to record our blessings and both agreed that we will record one blessing a day on our blogs to share with the world.  Rhi and I are also starting a place where you can create your own blessings blog as as well – so stay tuned.

Given the new focus of this site, I decided to change my theme as well….
